The Gatherings by Jeremy Ray
β€œThe things I was forced to witness were like a bad acid trip were like violent crimes to anyone sense of sight.”

Synopsis: A short story about a worldwide day of peace gone wrong as our author, Emily, races against time to document it before it’s too late.

Jeremy Ray always writes a compelling story and this one is not to be missed! I love the idea of this thing brought about by celebrities and politicians that we all jump on - kinda reminds me of the black profile pictures for BLM. A simple way to align with the famous people you admire and who’s values you believe you share, until you realize you’re part of a larger problem.

Also, Jeremy’s narrators are some of my favorites. Emily is just another in a long line that I love! If you like short form horror, Jeremy is your guy. 8.5/10 bubble baths!πŸ“šπŸ«§πŸ›
