Three women and the cruelties they've had to face, each unique and yet similar
I found Weyward very well written. Following along with these three storylines was as wonderful as it was saddening. Each woman unique and yet the cruelties they've faced so similar. I appreciated how Hart was able to capture the individuality of each woman as them being a product of their time as well as their own people.
I'm a bit split on the addition of magic into the story. On one hand, it's cathartic and beautiful. On the other, it dampens the message of the power in women. Why must these women, all very smart and capable in their own right, have had need of magic.
