Immortal Hulk Vol. 5: Breaker of Worlds by Al Ewing

4.0

The Immortal Hulk continues its hot streak and goes cosmic. While this volume is a bit heavy on Marvel lore and allusions (similar to volume three), the story and characters are strong enough that one needn’t have a PhD in Marvel Studies to make sense of what’s happening. Joe Bennett’s art continues to amaze and astound, while the two guest artists in this volume fit right into place alongside Bennett’s dayglo-woodcut-horror schtick.
