okay i wasn’t expecting this first book to be SO AMAZING! TRULY INSANE!!! also wasn't expecting for rhett to be such a cutie pie esp when he’s with summer!! elsie silver's previous series gold rush ranch was great but she STEPPED IT UP WITH THIS ONE!! like i am pleasantly surprised
omg rhett is a big ol’sweetie under his grumpy exterior especially his little gestures towards summer like opening the door for her and saving the last chicken wing for her (the foodie in me fell in love) !! I squealed!! he’s such an acts of service guy AND HES SO DOWN BAD FOR SUMMER LIKE HES LOCKED IN AND I LOVE THAT

again people pleaser girl x guy that wants to please her!! ALWAYS HITS
anyways, this is such a strong first book and i can't wait for the rest of the series
