You should probably read this if you read sci fi because all the authors you read have. And it takes less than an hour. The concept of humans creating a computer that gains sentience and then hates them was quite visionary at the time. A fact not lost on Harlan who went on to sue James Cameron over Terminator. Points for influence but the revelling in cruelty sticks with me in an icky way. Ellen does not need this sh*t.
