I picked up this book as i loved the cover, I’m as i think I’ve said before I’m a sucker for a beautiful cover! But this book is beautiful inside and out. We get two story’s running so we get chapters from Masha’s story and Alice’s story. The characters are well developed and it was until very near the end did i see the plot twist. The reason i haven’t given this five stars is because i wanted to find out a bit more of what and the how certain things happened at the end. I’m not going to say what as i don’t want to spoil it for others but all in all a life affirming book and i will most definitely read the others by this author as she has a lyrical and poetic way of writing and know hows to play with your heart. I would most definitely recommend this book.
