End of Watch by Stephen King

5.0

Wow, an epic ending to a great trilogy (even if I didn't care for the 2nd book in the trilogy as much). Even if it was spoiled to me to a degree in one of King's latest books, The Outsider. Note that book does describe some details of this book ending and it not like you were expecting it either. So read this first before you hit that mammoth book.

So onto this book. Good old characters come back into play Holly and Bill still doing the whole Finders Keepers biz. Jerome back from Harvard. Even Jerome's kid sister returns. And of course Brady from room 217 on the traumatic brain injury clinic.

I haven't read all of King's books, I'll e the first to admit that but I love how he spun this yarn. Book one was great, book two was okay (which is what kept me from reading this book for a while), and then comes this book. I just love the paranormal aspect of this book. I don't get tech stuff so if King was to make up every bit of tech info, I would have been a-okay but he actually tried with a touch of creative liberty. He consulted (and with the seriousness of suicide) left in his afterward the line for the suicide hotline.

AS for more content in the book, I found the plot interesting and creative, I won't get into how to cause that will ruin the plot but it is pretty cool. I loved the return of some favorite characters, even if I was sad at the end. Sad for that and the end of the series. The pacing was well done and engaging. Overall a top-notch way to end a series.
