Home Is Where You Are by Melissa Grace

5.0

Okay so I honestly didn't know what to expect when it came to this book. I was scrolling through instagram the other day and saw an ad for Melissa Grace and an arc for her newest book, Long Way Home. I loved the cover and it looked cute so I was like hey why not, I'll apply for it. To my surprise, I receive an email the next morning finding out I was approved! I was very excited and then realized there were 2 books that came before it and best of all they're free on kindle unlimited, so I of course started reading Home Is Where You Are almost immediately.

The book is set in Nashville, and ironically I had just gone on a trip there in early July and absolutely loved it, so I was even more excited to read the book. To say I loved this book is an understatement. Olivia is such a real character and I feel that everyone can find a way to relate to her. Jax is such an amazing man and his words have a way of making your heart happy. I loved that you could see other potential relationships blossoming in the background (my hope is that they'll be the topics of her other 2 books).

Overall I LOVED this book. I immediately messaged Melissa on instagram after finishing it and she actually responded saying I made her day where she made mine just the same. It is always so great to not only read a great book, but also be able to interact with the author. I simply cannot wait to read the next 2 books in the series! A big huge glowing recommendation for the Midnight in Dallas series and Melissa Grace!
