One Out of Two by Daniel Sada

3.0

2.5 stars for the translated version.

It is clear that the author has a unique style. Hard to explain, but I'll add anyway: Reading a page of this book felt like reading three "regular" pages. I appreciate his style, but I also feel like a part of its charm is lost in translation (even though I do not know anything about the original version).

My biggest complaint is about how the story is told. It is an interesting idea. Yet, the relationship between twins before they meet the guy is not introduced properly. So, reading what happened after they met the guy does not have enough impact.
