The Love Song of Ivy K. Harlowe by Hannah Moskowitz

5.0

This book is marketed as a romance, and it honestly feels like one at first, but that’s not at all what it is. Of course romance is involved, that’s true with most books, but it’s not the focal point of the story. More than anything this is a coming of age book. It’s just a girl, trying her damn best to get her life together, and only mildly succeeding. And on top of that, it’s not a high schooler! Our MC is a 19-20 y/o woman, and representing someone that age in this style of story is so uncommon, which made this book super refreshing. This was just a really overall enjoyable book to read.
