See Me After Class by Meghan Quinn

5.0

Laughter and love is the best combination and Meghan Quinn at bringing us both! Arlo is the teacher we all had and though learned a lot, hated the class. Greer is the teacher we all wanted but couldn't get into the class. Fun and innovative, she made learning high school English fun. But with Arlo in charge of the department. Greer is on her way out even before she begins. Her unorthodox methods have no room in this high school and Arlo makes sure she knows it. But there is more to this relationship besides teaching styles. Explosive chemistry keeps their witty banter flowing, but is that enough to keep this slow burn from going out? Arlo is a tough character. His narrow mind is his downfall. He is a character with a lot of layers and I love how Greer exposes each one. Greer's free spirit is refreshing. I love how she stands up for herself and does what she needs to. The cast of secondary characters that fall into the pranks show their true friendship colors, giving sage advice, fun in book club and gave us a lot of laughs. It's a wonderful story of learning to love, opening your heart and finding the one.

Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon bring all the passion and comedic timing to this story. What a team! Webber as Arlo pulls out all the stops. Who knew he could be stuffy and alluring at the same time? Mallon had me laughing at book club with an array of women we all want to hang out with! These two are amazing and together gave us a fantastic listen.

As a bonus, we have Date Night narrated by Connor Crais. A fun look at how how a couple keeps the passion alive! Add in the role play game of solving a mystery, I was blushing and smiling through their date. Crais brings it all to life with a playful, seductive set of voices. A fun, enjoyable treat!
