Fun story: I bought this book because of both the high ratings and though it would be about chemical warfare or biological diseases. Boy was I wrong!

Then I thought to myself, "this writing style is soooo similar to Stephen King's, but back when he wasn't making all the dad jokes and corny references". I looked the author up and lo and behold it was his son!

I enjoyed this book, but I am a very stingy giver of stars. Don't let my 3.5 stars fool you. It was written well, with great imagery and you could feel the characters' pain as if it were your own.
