I'm getting more into this series as it gets more complex. Also, I suppose I'm just getting used to it, so the little character/writing things that annoyed me in the first book don't bother me in this one. The "suspense" can be kind of annoying in that it seems forced and TVshow-like with the cutting away of scenes and different POVs, but the hope that it will all be explained eventually makes up for it. Certainly makes me want to read the next book, so it's a good tactic, I guess.
