The plot twist got me and I had read a plot twist was coming. It was subtly foreshadowed when you look back. This book is emotional, but also educational (although it's not trying to give a history lesson). The way trauma gets described was done well too. The romance is a little fast-paced, but I did like the relationship. The dialogue felt a little fan-ficky at some points, but this was an insanely good debut!
