Much like the first Arthur Less book, this sequel is beautifully written but didn't hold my attention well. I found the shifting perspectives jarring, and I don't understand how someone's marathon cross country travel can simultaneously be enviable and utterly dull. It felt like a sweeping movement of "this is your life" from beginning to end; but reconnections from the past won't even serve as a closer glimpse to Arthur's current life. This one gets a solid three stars because it's a GOOD story, just not a page-turner.
