I really loved this novel. Out of all the romance books I read this month, I can say this writing style was my favorite. It may be because I relate to Parker a lot in thoughts, feelings, and just how she interacts with the world. I would re-read this one even though I don't think it's necessarily a unique novel/plot, but it was just really enjoyable for me. I am a sucker for hockey romance and this gave me what I wanted.
This is definitely a slow-burn, not spicy novel so if that's what you're looking for maybe try something else. I enjoyed that I didn't see even a kill till 3/4 of the way through the book. The tension was built nicely and it completely centered around our protagonists. Loved Logan and Parker especially.
