Reminiscent of a magic version of X-Men, but it looks like there's a tournament-arc coming, and I don't have much patience for those. Years ago a plague left most survivors in the kingdom with different special powers, except a few left powerless. The King decided that powerless people, left alone, would weaken the kingdom, so he has them executed if discovered (notably by his Enforcer, who has the power to sense and hijack others' powers). Cue our female protagonist, a powerless pickpocket, who encounters (and fascinates) the prince/Enforcer. I didn't bond enough with any of the characters, and the upcoming tournament-arc turns me off from trying to connect with the plot.
