This was my first book by Keri Lake! I was immediately drawn to it. This story was full of suspense and gothic creole vibes. She paid homage to the roots she was writing about in beautiful way.
Thierry & Celeste have the chemistry we want to read about. It may have taken a bit to get steamy, but she did make sure that was known from the beginning.
