I read this book when I was 10 or 11, after having read The Shining, IT, The Stand, Carrie, Cujo, Pet Sematary, and anything else King I could get my grubby, prepubescent little hands on. This was, and still is, my favorite King read ever, outpaced perhaps only by the Dark Tower series. Yes, King is the master of horror, but I will also absolutely lust after any fantasy he's ever written. I can't wait for Fairy Tale in September!
