If it wasn't already clear, I love the Murderbot series.
This takes place between Exit Strategy and Network Effect
This one was a bit different from the previous books since this is basically a murder mystery, but it wasn't any less fantastic. I loved getting to see this side of Murderbot (it wasn't allowed to use it's hacking abilities) and the fact that we got to see more of Preservation was also great. I enjoyed getting to see a bit of the law and politics of Preservation in action as well.
The new characters Murderbot gets to interact with were also fun. I always love Murderbot's interactions with everyone at all times and It's snark was on extra high gear in this book and I loved every second of it.
100% will reread again and I can't wait for the next installment!
