This is Just Exactly Like You by Drew Perry

This was an easy summer read. The story was pretty engaging, but I had problems with much of the character development and some of them felt pretty false/contrived. Especially, unfortunately, the female characters. The parts I enjoyed were centered around Hendrick, the 6 year old autistic son of the central characters. And I liked the surprising interactions revolving around fiberglass sea creatures. It didn't ring true to me, but some of the misadventures along the way were entertaining.
