Drowning by T.J. Newman

3.0

I really debated giving this book 4 stars because of the ending. I read the entire back half of the book in one sitting and I found it really enthralling. However, I found that a lot of the technical airplane engineering stuff and diving stuff went way over my head, and it was hard at times to imagine what was happening during the rescue because I didn't understand any of the lingo. It was also a little unrealistic that Chris would be able to be so involved in the operation. I grew to really love the characters, especially Ruth and Shannon, and I cried so much when I thought Chris died. I was stunned at the end when she ended up surviving, and I really liked the ending. It all happened the way I wanted it too, but it didn't feel predictable at all.
