DAMMIT WILL'S STORY OR DAMON'S JUST TELL ME ALREADY

Review:
I have finished this book and I feel it's the end of an era. Which it kind of is. I started Devil's Night when I was eighteen years old and only Corrupt had been out, and now five years later, I am ending the whole series with a satisfying conclusion. I cannot begin to describe my emotions in regards to reading this thick book (which I absolutely love), because there are just so many emotions swirling in my chest that it has become impossible to name each of them.

I am proud of Will for becoming the man he has become, and Emory has taken a special place in my heart. But Damon, Damon, Damon. Even when it's not his book, that man manages to shine brighter than the main characters. He did so in Corrupt as a hidden antagonist, as a straight up villain in Hideaway, then we came to his story in Kill Switch and I guess everyone who had not liked him previously just fell head-over-heels in love with him. Then began Nightfall and if he had not been enough in the flashbacks and the present, the epilogue totally solidified him as a perfect character.

I also loved Aydin Khadir in the book. I think he has a very similar personality to Damon and he is a very very complex character like him.

I think we all have established that William Aaron Paine Grayson III is our baby and we must protect him at all costs. But apparently it wasn't needed because our baby grew up and showed them what is capable of.

I applaud Penelope Douglas for writing another amazing book.

I will miss my horsemen so much. I love this universe and the escape from reality I steal from it.
