skippy is sweet, the absolute best, the plot is meandering and kind of insane, sometimes good, other times not. impressively ties everything together at the end, which i was NOT expecting (i was a doubter). lost my way in the middle, came back and plowed through easily to the finish. honestly surprised by how much i ended up liking it!! depressing at times, reading about horny racist teen boys is harrowing but all in all not bad at all
