“Even if that thing is a comic book?”

“Comic books mean a lot to some people.”

You know what? This was cute book.

I’m giving it a bonus half star because Canadian bias and I loved all the mentions of places I’m familiar with and can make fun of from experience.

Miriam was immature about dealing with the family dispute. It felt wrong for her to give Weldon the cold shoulder when he didn’t directly have a part in the outcome. And she seemed like she blamed people for things not in their control. I understand immediately feeling anger but she was just resentful. (And all of her friends, minus Evan, kind of sucked).

The romance between Mir and Weldon was very lust-y/love at first sight, but they have a good premise given their opposing families and family drama. It felt very suddenly and didn’t really have much development, so the inevitable drama that came didn’t phase me since they didn’t have much (imo). I think it would’ve been better if they built a friendship instead.
