Man, does it feel good to be back in the Rinaverse! This book, part of the Villain spinoff series, incorporates the same timeline and characters as the rest of the Legacy of Gods collection.
The story follows Gareth, a seemingly straight laced genius yet secretly bloodlusting antisocial, and Kayden, his criminal law professor with his eyes set to either own or destroy him. Their connection explores a power imbalance dynamic, as well as codependency and a rather toxic relationship. It’s hot and tension filled with a touch of action, just as you’d expect from this author.
