Such a quick, sweet read! I really dove into this story rather quickly (mostly because I was reading it in between two other books and wanted to get it done faster than normal)... but it worked well with this book. The pace was steady and kept me involved until the very end. I like when a book just doesn't give me a good break, and I keep wanting more.

I really enjoyed getting to know Carrie. She's one of those successful women who thrives on doing well in life. She's literally got THE life... a great man, great job (had just been named Partner), and then life just slaps her in the face and her world comes tumbling down around her in pieces. We get to see her pick herself up again, make some super scary and impulsive decisions and move on with her life... and then there was Brad. With a few twists and turns along her path... Brad helps Carrie see a new side to life in Palm Beach. It was wonderful watching this relationship blossom.

"From lows to highs, what a whirlwind of emotions it had been, but now, here she was, about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime."

The only thing that threw me off in this novel was the perspective, there was a big of a disconnect with Carrie for me... I would have loved to see this one be written in first person, to gain a little more access to Carrie and understand her a little deeper. Same with Brad, a duel chapter perspective could have been nice as well. Otherwise it was a wonderfully written story about starting over, and second chances. Great read, will definitely be recommending to the folks that love a good love story.
