Thank you NetGalley for the ARC audiobook. I was pleasantly surprised with this audiobook. I have never heard of the author Nicci Cloke. The title of the book is what got me to take a closer look at the synopsis. The main character, aka. Katherine, Kate, KC, Kit and Wild Kate is a completely different person, especially depending on which POV you are listening to from other characters. It was confusing trying to follow which "Kate" was being described and by WHO was describing her at the beginning. But eventually you catch on.
This novel really showcases how one person can be somebody completely different depending on the type of relationship you have with them. I had no idea which Kate I was going to get at the end and I enjoyed that. Usually I like to try and figure out the plot line prior to the ending, but in this case I let the story play out. I am happy that I did that. Moderate sexual content. Profanity. Ages 17+. I recommend this audiobook to others. All of the narrators were good.
