Absolutely loved this book. It had so much heart; vulnerability; banter and basically just about everything I could need from a romance novel. Connecting with Helen and her relationship to her parents; her mom especially and taking her through this journey where a tragedy brings two people together and how often in life we are not ok or don’t feel worthy enough so we through away something/something that’s willing to accept and grow with all our flaws. The writing was beautiful. My heart broke for these two people in several ways even while anxiously waiting for them to figure it out. I’m also glad that it didn’t go down as easy with her parents because that does feel more natural. But my heart was happy and full with the ending. Beautiful
