The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan
3.0

Well, another Percy Jackson book read. I'm only reading this to see how it ends, I should note, not because they are great. This story has the same problems as the others, and the same good things. Good sense of humor, recognizable characters, bad plotting, cavalry saving the day multiple times....

This one also adds bad physics to the mix! Yay! Hint to authors...if you are inside a metal object (like an airplane or automobile or giant robot), lightning and power lines will not harm you in the slightest. This is because the lightning will travel around the outside of the object and leave things inside unaffected.

The plots main problem is that the books have all basically the same plot. Percy Jackson has to go on a quest to save someone. Every single time... It's so pathetic. If all 5 books end up being this way, I shall be quite vengeful in my review of the final book.
