The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom
5.0

I highly recommend "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom. Corrie worked with the Dutch Underground to hide and relocate more than a hundred Jews during the Holocaust. Eventually, Corrie was caught and sent to a series of prisons and work camps until she was sent to Ravensbruk, an extermination camp. This book recounts her experiences from a perspective of love, faith, and courage. During a time that brought out the absolute worst in humanity, for Corrie and her friends, the Holocaust brought out the best.

"And so I learned that love is larger than the walls which shut it in." - Corrie Ten Boom

For anyone who is looking for a truly beautiful, and often heart wrenching read, "The Hiding Place" is a perfect fit.
