Across the Universe by Beth Revis

I didn't give this book as many stars as it probably deserved, but that was mainly because I GUESSED WHO THE KILLER WAS FROM LIKE THE FIRST PAGE. I hate mystery and sic-fi. I really do, but I took a chance because of the BEAUTIFUL cover (that took everyone a few minutes to figure out) and I really liked it. I did. Despite that, I must say that it was boring at times and a struggle to get into. The Season thing (everyone "breeds" at the same time to make generations all the same age) was disgustingly horrifying. EWWW. Plus, there was like ZERO romance. I kept waiting for it and waiting for it, but it NEVER CAME. NOT EVEN AT THE END. When I finally finished it, I was not satisfied. I literally threw the book across the room and took a deep breath of, thankfully, fresh air. The book was, overall, interesting and thought provoking, but I didn't love it. At all. Recommended for sci-fi, romance-is-boring-but-science-is-fun people.
