Thank you to St. Martin's Press for the gifted copy for review.
I very much enjoyed author Katie Bishop's debut The Girls Of Summer, and High Season just as much.
In 2004, Tamara Drayton was found dead in her pool at the family's sprawling mansion in the south of France. The only witness to the events was her six-year-old sister Nina.
Twenty years later, Nina's childhood recall is being called into question by family, friends, and an investigative podcaster. Unreliability is in full force here.
This is a slow-burn thriller in dual timelines, with flawed characters who really can all be under suspicion. Great stuff - recommended!
Released on Aug. 12.
