This book fell flat for me.
The FMC is so obsessed with men, like teenage level obsessed with men. The character read like a 20 year old, not a 29 year old. The book is steeped in fat-phobia too. At one point she says she’s a Size 12, then spends the rest of the book going on about how fat she is and how she needs to lose weight and be skinny. It’s basically a personality trait.
The FMC has a real problem with self-love and self respect. Being with a guy for three weeks doesn’t warrant a week-long depressive episode in bed.
Only gets two stars for being set in Glasgow
