Despite not the highest rating, this was kind of exactly what I wanted this weekend: a not-that-deep, cute holigay romance for my snowy weekend away. I think my issue is that I really like Alyson Derrick, and I love the idea of a IRL couple writing YA romance together, but the actual writing falls just slightly short from Lippincott (for me). Another piece that I tried not to let sway my review too much, was that I wasn't a huge fan of the readers of the audiobook.
I do think I might have like (and believed) this story more if the characters were young adults instead of teenagers, as a few others have mentioned as well.
