I have to admit I spent more time on the fence about Shadow and Bone than any other book I have read. There were bits I liked and other parts I disliked. I love the concept and the characters, but maybe not how it was written.
I felt some of the major turning points should habe occurred near the end. I really disliked how Alina came to have her power show because it felt like she quickly did the opposite pages later. There is a lot I could comaplain about, but I'll save it.
