Why was this deemed worthy of being turned into a show? The first part while they were at school was fine but from there it just went down hill. I was hoping for something to redeem it but nothing appeared. I think this book was written by a frat boy from NYC.
Quinton was a jerk and loser who had no backbone. He was the one who cheated first after neglecting Alice for an extended period of time. He was already checked out.. and then he's all hung up that she slept with someone? Then there's the excessive drinking and drugs. Sure college students and graduates like to drink but they aren't usually that bad unless they're horrible frat boys. The only good part of the drinking was the Finger Lakes Reisling.
Also, you can't see the Adirondacks from near Buffalo! It's the opposite end of the state about a 5 hour drive away. Buffalo is in WESTERN NY not "upstate". Getting simple geography wrong really decreased my small amount of respect for the author.
