I had high expectations and it EXCEEDED IT. I really loved both of the main characters and their backstories. Also, I was super invested in Marshall and Benedikt. I am looking forward to the sequel and seeing more of the characters into action!
I loved how the historical aspects, that were happening at that time, was introduced in the book, along with connecting it to the retelling. This is honestly one of my best reads of the year <3 !!
