Bad Blood by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

I was.... disappointed with this book. After the past three books, I felt like this series should finish with a bang, except it was surprisingly..... anti-climatic. And I can't believe that all the previous three books just amounted to..this.

First off, can I juts say that there is a shit ton of mind games in this entire book. Why can't we just stick to actions, and things that the characters actually do.

I didn't have that many problems with the ongoing of the book, but the main problem was definitely the ending. I felt extremely unsatisfied with it, and quite disappointed (have I mentioned that before?)

JBL really couldn't have made it more...eventful? I know that there was a lot going on, but Cassie herself did barely anything. She Linda just stood there, and said a couple inspirational words. Girly, I thought you knew more than that.

And did
Lorelai have to die? They were literally five minutes away from being rescued by the rest of our crew. Cassie didn't provide a helpful deep mind insight this time either. WHY THE F*CK DID SHE DIE??
?

Moving onto the characters, not much new info was given. But I did predict that we would learn about Lisa's past a bit more. And I suppose we did, but, in true Lia fashion, not a lot of details. I also didn't realize before how much Judd cared for the MCs (though maybe I should've, seeing as it was mentioned countless times before, but anywho).

Overall, I was sorta disappointed with this book (if you didn't t pick that up yet), but it's only really the ending that is bothering me. Would I recommend this series? Hell yeah, but just don't get your hopes too high.

I really need more, but alas, I only have a tiny novella to satisfy me now.
