This book was immaculate. A part of me is disappointed in the lack of hype that it receives, but I also find some solace and comfort in the fact that it’s less well-known so that a select few of us can cherish it and our dim, quiet bookshelves (I swear I’m not gatekeeping it).
This book definitely hit many tiers of greatness that are difficult to achieve in a singular story—raw emotions, conflicting characters, and a meaningful plot. I could feel the author’s care and nurturing of this story through every word. Every detail mentioned would come back full circle to make sense in the end, connecting past, present, and future into a single thread. I will definitely be rereading this book later this year after I digest it fully.
