Fallen Angels
by Walter Dean Myers
Fallen Angels is a perfect example of not judging a book based on that time you were forced to read it in school. I didn't finish it then, but I'm so glad I decided to start over now! This book moved at such a rapid pace, that I couldn't walk away for too long without wondering what was going to happen on the next page. Exciting, funny, excruciatingly gut-wrenching, and never dulled by long-winded explanations of war tactics/politics. This book was straight to the point. Perfect.
