Listen... I did not expect to like even the slightest bit of this book. Based on some reviews, it is deemed to be pretentious and unrelatable. I disagree. Just because I can't relate to the characters doesn't mean I can't enjoy it. And I just don't get the comparison to Sally Rooney's books... the writing style is so different (this one's easier to follow imho). There are some aspects of it that to me is quite questionable, but still...
