The Au Pair Affair by Tessa Bailey
3.0
This book was cute. I really loved Burgess; he's observant and protective and very sweet. And I loved Tallulah; she's firey but scared of being hurt, and doesn't want that to stop her living her life. The main characters were really the only thing I loved about the book.
I wanted a slow burn. With the nanny dynamic and Tallulah's background with men, I wanted the tension build to be excruciating. It was not. Their relationship was quick to progress both physically and emotionally, even thoughTallulah didn't want to commit to anything. I didn't enjoy the friend characters that were clearly a set up for the next book - Sig and Chloe gave me the ick more than I wanted to know more about them.
Overall, it was an okay read.
