very interesting novel, H.G Wells gives a great criticism of our civilization, judging on how this is novel is considered as a classical novel, I can say that H.G Wells was a head of his time, his perception about the importance of challenges that any civilization should take to maintain it's grace and glory reminds me of our current state in 2020, too much comfort can lead to catastrophic consequences.

not daring, not working continuously on keeping what we've built might lead to a big fall.. this novel is a clear warning.
