I liked 2/3 of this book - the Altha pov was the weakest, least enjoyable part for me.
I really enjoyed the building of Kate and Violet's stories. I liked the subtle magic and the connection that these women shared.
I recommend this book if you want a short, modern read. There's some light magic and some good "yay women" bits.
