Considering 80% of this book was centered around Chaol SJM still did an amazing job of making the book enjoyable with the other characters she included. I did the tandem read with empire of storms and they complemented each other so well I couldn’t imagine reading the books separately. I only give this a 4.75 because compared to heir of fire, queen of shadows and empire of storms it just isn’t a 5 star but it’s still really good.
