A Substitute Wife for the Prizefighter by Alice Coldbreath

4.0

She does it again. I love that her heroes are enamored with their wives.

What stood out to me, outside of the romance, was the Toomes family dynamics. While it was complicated, I truly enjoyed that the made conscious decisions to not hold resentment towards each other.

Benedict and Lizze’s dynamic was great too. I love how they communicated, and each put 100% of their efforts towards a healthy relationship. I also loved Benedict’s territorial behavior towards Lizzie (but he still isn’t quite as swoon worthy as Nye).
