The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë

challenging emotional inspiring reflective medium-paced

It was a long read for me as I started it at the end of the academic year right before my finals. At the beggining I could hardly get through it, and the fact that I didn't really have any time because of exams didn't help. But just as I got free of it all i swallowed the whole thing just in like 2 days. And I have to say that I don't only  rate this  with 5 stars but also might add it in my list of all time favourite books and Helen in my list of the best female characters. This piece is so well written, it made me tremble with every fibre of my soul, and I literally held my breath while reading certain parts of it. I just love the Bronte sisters. And this is the first thing I've read by Anne, and it's brilliant, one of a kind. So brave for the time, so empowering!!
