I’m mad I didn’t dnf this. But it was just interesting enough that I was like no, I’m gonna keep going. But Jesus. There were so many details in here that literally went nowhere.

There was a scene where charlotte climbs a tree to see who her brother is sleeping with (which first of all why?) and then she sees him naked, falls out of the tree traumatized, and we never find out who he was with. Then out of nowhere her bodyguard asks Spencer if he me ever been with a man, he’s brought up one more time, and then totally forgotten

I have never seen two people more incompatible than Spencer and Charlotte. There is no way in hell these two stay married. She is insufferable. And Spencer should have ended up with Sheridan. A cute friends to lovers would have been much better than this nonsense. Her family sucks too. And so does her friend Lara, Lana? Idk I forget her name but she’s terrible. The jealousy and other women drama also sucked. The only good part was the blind date they went on. Which took 200+ freaking pages to get to!! Man I don’t mind a long book, and yeah this was a fast read, but this could have easily been cut to 300 pages, and told the same exact story.
