Very interesting book. The main character Arawyn reminds me of Anita Blake, another character that I love. I really enjoyed that at the end of this book was a glossary/dictionary and illustrations of all the main characters. It ended on a cliff hangar - but I'm intrigued to read the next book and am happy to end the month this way. This book was a unique take on fae/faery tales and lore. The author also has a unique take on the effect and consequences of fae powers especially in a person who doesnt know they have them/or how to use them.

I never suspected what type of fae she would be nor did I piece together that she would be important so I was genuinely surprised by the end.
